Red Line transmission oils
Appropriate coefficient of friction for most manual transmission synchronizers (other's synthetic gear oils are often too slippery for proper synchro engagement). Red Line offers lubricants to pinpoint nearly every transmission application. MTL, MT-85 & MT-90 are not for use in differentials with hypoid gears. Excellent gear and synchro protection, balanced slipperiness for easier shifting in cold climates.

MTL
- Popular for BMW, Honda and Acura, Ford Focus, late-model Mini Cooper, Land Rover/Range Rover LT77S, Dodge & Jeep NV1500, NV3500 , NV3550 and NV5600 truck transmissions
- Popular replacement for and improvement over GM Synchromesh® (#12345349) and Auto-Trak II® (#12378508) and Chrysler spec MS-9224
- Safe for brass synchros, as it lacks the reactive sulfurs found in most GL-5 oils that cause damage
- Offers quicker shifts, perfect synchronizer coefficient of friction
- Eliminates notchy shifting, even when cold
- High performance gear protection and longer synchro life

- Designed for transmissions and transaxles - helps to slow synchros for easier shifting across a broad temperature range
- Popular in Ferrari, Porsche and Subaru transaxles
- Musclecar applications like Ford Top Loader, Borg-Warner T-10 and Super T-10, and Muncie transmissions
- Contains extreme pressure additives like our 75W90 GL-5 oil, but lacks friction modifiers to balance slipperiness
- Improved copper corrosion protection to prolong synchro life
- Helps with lock-up on weak limited-slip differentials-compatible with Red Line Limited Slip Friction Modifier for tuning slippage

- This product is not designed for use in most manual transmissions or transaxles in passenger vehicles, since the extreme slipperiness may cause synchronizer mesh issues that lead to shifting problems
- Recommended for API GL-5, GL-6, MT-1, MIL-L-2105E, SAE J2360, and Chrysler spec MS-9763

75w110
- New product designed as a intermediate viscosity providing additional film strength over a 75W90, yet less drag than a 75W140
- Developed with support from Red Line-sponsored racing team and project cars, provides improved limited slip operation under extreme loads and differential temperature
- Offers gear noise reduction over 75W90, avoiding a significant jump in viscosity to 75W140 when troubleshooting noisy gear sets
- Popular in many sports car applications as well as light trucks (Chevy 1500 Silverado, Tahoe, etc.)
