This Ford Rocket 4-speed range change synchromesh Quaife conversion kit comes with straight cut gears, in close ratios.
The layshaft of this gearbox is assembled using separate gears and retains the original Ford mainshaft.
This Ford Rocket 4-speed range change synchromesh Quaife conversio kit allows an instant 'axle ratio change', e.g. 4.6 to 5.1.
The range change is achieved by simply twisting the gear lever. The change can be made in any gear. This conversion kit includes the Quaife gear lever.
There is a choice of input shaft lengths available, and the overall gearbox length remains as standard.
Optional parts for this gearbox include alloy top cover, steel baulk rings and heavy duty operating block.
