The engine thermostat
The thermostat regulates the coolant temperature. The thermostat opens depending on the model from 60 to 90 degrees, when it released the radiator cooler water in the engine cooling circuit. When the temperature has dropped sufficiently, usually 5 to 10 degrees, the thermostat closes again.
