Why use a hydraulic handbrake

A hydraulic handbrake uses the car's main rear brakes to brake, and because of that it can be used consistently time after time in high speeds like drifting. The original handbrake is simply designed to keep the car parked, not to be pulled agin and again from hight speeds.
