100mm billet throttlebodies available
2016-03-23 16:33:38 by RikuOur billet throttlebody lineup got a big brother, a 100mm throttle body.
This tb will probably not shine in the top sold items, as choosing a throttle body is more than just picking the biggest possible unit. A throttle body should always be selected based on how much airflow is predicted at max power. That way the throttle response remains linear and predictable instead of basically having a wot-situation when actually just opening 25 %. For a comparison, the 2JZ-powered drifter of Juha Rintanen uses a 90mm body, and a 80mm body would be optimal according to him.
Luckily our lineup of throttlebodies starts from a very moderate 65mm, and includes intermediate sizes 70, 80 and 90mm before the newest addition, 100mm.
